Tuesday, we went to school and we will go shopping in the afternoon, and nail painting.
Wednsday, we will not attend school and we will go to universal studios all day.
Thursday we will go to school and after school we will go to the movie and see “This is It” Michael Jackson movie.
Friday we will go to school and after all of us will go to Disneyland.
Saturday we will go shopping ad start packing because Sunday we will leave Orange County for Las Vegas.

A selection of fotos from over our 2 week trip to the United States.

Only 5% of visitors to the Grand canyon actually trek into the canyon!

Along with our guides Tank and P.J. students and teachers made a 5 hour trek down into and up out of the Grand Canyon. As our guides pointed out, of the MILLIONS of visitors who come to the grand canyon every year only 5% actually trek into the canyon! The I.S.M. can now proudly say that we are part of that exclusive 5%.

With every step into the canyon we are taken back 10 THOUSAND years back in time in geological terms. On the way down we were shown examples of plants used by the native peoples for medicinal purposes, for cooking and even for sewing!

We treked to a vantage point where we were given a presentation by our guides on the Grand Canyon.

How was the Grand Canyon formed??

DUDE!

D.U.D.E.

What does that stand for? Can you guess? Ask one of the exchange students on their return or watch their presentation in the middle school soon!!

Bowling in Arizona

As part of one evenings entertainment students played one of americas most loved sports, Bowling. Competition was fierce and students enjoyed the games but some may need to work on their technique!!

Antelope canyon

After spending an afternoon rafting on one side of the Glen Canyon dam students spent wednesday morning on a boat trip into antelope canyon for what was to be an excellent opportunity to get some great fotos of this interesting canyon.
